We've been delighted to see how many residents have engaged in the issue of HGVs routing through our town, supporting our call for an 18 ton HGV weight limit on Brooklands Road (B374).
We are heartened to see that our MP includes the following in his latest emailed newsletter: "HGV UPDATE. Cllr Tim Oliver has been working with Surrey's Highways teams and engineers to look at solutions, with hopes of introducing a temporary ban on HGVs using Brooklands Road and other key roads in and around Weybridge. Details of this will have to be finalised and subject to public consultation and, if effective, could lead to a permanent ban being introduced"
